Religion in Faerun Q&A

how would a non-draconic follower of Tiamat woship her in a lawful-type of setting? And would the rank and title system associated with tiamats followers apply in a area without a etasblished shrine/temple/pile of shiny things?

I like to consider myself relatively knowledgeable about the Forgotten Realms but there is one topic I've long been curious about. How rare/possible is it for specific racial deities to have Clerics of other races? I ask because I had a burgeoning idea for an elven cleric of Cyric or Mask.

It does happen, especially "human" deities tend to draw a lot of non-human worshippers and even Clerics. It happens more rarely amongst non-human religions. Of course, it also depends upon the mindset of the adherents and how welcoming they are to people of that specific race.

I would say that in general, between 1-5% of all Clerics of Faerunian "Human" deities are non-human, while amongst racial Faerunian deities it is generally 0,1-0,5%. There are exceptions, of course, Sune has a lot of Elven Clerics, for example, while you will -never- see a Moon Elf adherent of Llolth.

Thank you for the prompt response Edin. And thanks for the welcome kta. :)

My only other question would be; would a Maskarran cleric have to take rogue levels? Is it common for them to exist without rogue levels? Or are nearly all of them multi-classed to some degree?

Also how does this server handle multi-classing in regards to level spread? Most I've played on have had some rules to regulate how multi-classing is handled.

Thanks again!

There are no such rules in place here. However, if you plan to join a faction as a cleric you should consider that the upper ranks will only be available to your character if a certain amount of cleric levels are met. Look at: http://thaypw.org/showthread.php?tid=57 for details.
