Is there any possibility to chat with a DM directly?
I'm creating a new character concept and would like to get some feedback and thoughts on the aspect of my character regarding if it makes sense, is possible or just out right silly.
I do have skype, and would probably be most comfortable with it.
Or is the forum-chat a better idea?

This would really be appreciated, since I'm trying to fit my character into this world in a way that makes sense.
I'm putting down quite a lot of time this, writing the biography going back to my chars parents even. :)

You can PM, private message here on the forum one of the DMs if you have questions or you can ask one in game. KTA handles applications for sub races but any of the DM staff can answer any questions you might have.

I think I'm stupid. I can't find the server rule-set... regarding sub-races among other things.
*In advance* Is half-drow considered a sub-race that you need to apply for?
*Also* I've written about two Word A4's worth of background material, standard lines and letter size.

Currently anything that is not one of the six standard races is something that needs to be applied for. So a half-drow would be one of them. We usually ask people to play here for at least a month or so before playing special/subrace PCs. In this case only, go ahead and send what you have to me since KTA is away for a time. But typically though, sending an e-mail to him with the background information is what you'd want to do when requesting to play a subrace PC.

I will as soon as I am done with it. I've covered my chars background history (1400+ words) and will now write characteristics and description of the character. Also I have a structured form of the ability-scores and all things related.

I'm also wondering if there is any rule-sets on the server.
As in, what is allowed and not allowed to emote/rp. Cussing, torture, abuse. Things like that.
