My game has been crashing regularly, could anyone suggest common causes so I'd know what to look at?

Is the regular crashing new, or has it always done this since you've installed it?

It's usually pretty rare, but it's happened 2 or 3 times today though. As far as anything in common not really, one time it was when I opened rest menu, the other I wasn't doing anything in particular.

Have you installed anything new on your system within the last day or do you have anything else running that you normally don't have running while playing NWN?

No new installations, nothing running in background except the usual Firefox.

Hmm. Maybe just try rebooting your machine and see if it goes away. Sorry, no advice beyond that.

I also recommend creating a copy of the override folder, and then clearing out everything except the 1.69 files in it. This may at least tell you if something there is causing a problem. The 1.69 files are listed here at the bottom of the page: http://nwn.wikia.com/wiki/Override

The override is definitely worth a look. One of the sewer areas caused me to crash every time I went into it until I cleaned out my override folder.

Thanks. Hasn't happened for a few hours even thought they were all within about 30 minutes of each other. I'll look at the override when I get the chance.
