If it comes up in a conversation with people on another server, I have no problem with that - and I know that happens in Thay with people talking about other servers as well. But like KTA mentioned, going to a server with the intent to advertise another to the players there is something to avoid. It isn't welcome here, and I'm sure most other server's staff/admins feel the same way on their servers as well.

If any of you like the server and feel like putting on your marketing hat, feel free to reply to it at some point in time, if you like. There is definitely no pressure to do so - simply logging in and playing is advertisement enough (hooray for the +1 to the player count on the server!) if you're not a big forum poster. ;)

This was easy enough to grab out of the NWN Community Server Status topic on the social forums. I figure it might be useful to have here on the forums. You could even add it to the actual Thay topic on the BioWare boards.

I posted a Thay topic on the gog.com NWN forum. It's one of the most likely sources of new players these days, and I figured that every bit helps. I post over there fairly regularly, so I thought it would be best to come from someone who's an active part of the community (as opposed to someone who signed up just to advertise).
