Were they made available to the players? haven't followed Thay in a while, at least not that good.
I just remember Vortar being one, and that's just about it.

Yeah, I think Vortar was the beta tester, now it's fully supported in game. I know he designed the armor and cloak.

Thus far, I'm seeing a definite lack of Kossuthians. They're the hottest ticket in town, folks!

I may make a Fire Drake using Ardin's COT build with some slight modifications.

In response to the "3 PC's policy," I must give up my plans to create "one of everything."

In more serious news, I never had more than two characters at a time I ever considered "active."

I am glad to hear that we're aiming for the earlier relaunch date.

Sorry you (and everyone else) won't be able to have one of everything. But yeah - it's pretty much that I just want it in the back of everyone's mind to try and keep control of the number of PCs they decide to play at once. As I mentioned, there's no big nuclear bomb that will get dropped on a PC if it's above the recommended limit for that player, but for people that do end up with more than 3 they try to actively play, they should figure out which of those three are their favorites and simply stop playing, or else delete, the others.

We shall see if this recommended measure of self control works. I hope it does though!

It's understandable (for the reasons given). Like I said, I don't think I ever actually had more than two "active" characters at any given time (I have several more characters in my vault, but they were all concepts that never really clicked at the time). When I first started playing here, permadeath was a concern, so I tried to have a "backup" just in case the worst happened. It was kind of funny that my last major PC (Kalis) was my original backup character.

It's entirely your fault anyway. If there weren't so many possible directions to go, I wouldn't suffer from chronic "Is the Grass Greener over There?" syndrome. :P

I agree. With respect to all players, I have enjoyed the rp here but got a bit frustrated when I started to rp with a character and then that character disappeared for a preferred character.
Most likely I will stick to the one mostly due to time constraints. I understand people may want to test builds and such but mayhap one of the various build modules out there.
Granted they may not have some of the scripting Thay does, but since Thay uses basic nwn with no additional haks, it would be a good testing ground.
I enjoyed playing Azura and Avrora but back then I had more time.

Ah, the old days of only running around Bezantur. *Wipes tear* I (vaguely) remember how exciting it was to finally be able to travel as far as Thesselen.
