Fugue Plane After update
#11
Before magic was taken away, if you died in a group and they wanted to bring you back, they would collect your body and items and go to a Temple. If this happens now you are unable to ressurect. So, is respawning the only option? If you are not brought back by the friends but wind up in the fugue then I gather it would be treated the same as if you died alone?
Suffer xp and gold loss even though in character your comrades wanted to? I have not experienced this yet and was just curious.

That sounds right. If no PC or NPC cleric can raise, then they can't raise.

Until the Time of Troubles has ended, you have the three options the being offers you; you can respawn to the place you died to retrieve your items, respawn to a crypt minus your items or delete your PC and make a new one at half the levels.

Yes. You will take a hit to your gold and xp. Keep in mind though, this is only temporary during the ToT. Once the ToT is over the option to carry your fallen to a priest will be there once again.

But the xp will not be replaced I gather.

Oh well a time to be extra careful.

If it's that big of a deal, avoid the Fugue Plain. The loss of XP/gold is a small price to pay to not be dead. Picking everything back up afterward is the part that's a pain.
