Agreed. It's the simplest and most descriptive. Then, if you wanted, you could still have different divisions with their own names within the Black Unicorn Legion... e.g. the Dread Riders division of the Black Unicorn Legion.

I'm fine with the Black Unicorn Legion with divisions that can have a more specialized name.

There will not be the ability for PCs to name or create divisons within this faction. Since this is a relatively restrictive faction to begin with, I will not do anything like that until it, at least, proves to have as many PCs as the other factions - like the other legions, for example. And since even the legions don't have the ability to create/name special units within them, despite being more populated with PCs (most likely), those would likely be the first faction to benefit from any design modification to allow named units within a faction.
However, I would not hold out hope that any faction will ever gain that ability because I do not see a benefit to fragmenting PCs already in a faction. There is already the potential for enough faction vs. faction conflict or intra-faction bonding without introducing special 'units' within a faction that will likely cause intra-faction conflict and competitiveness/exclusiveness in addition to what we already have in whole factions vs. factions. So while I do not want this thread to turn into a discussion about new features people might want with this or other factions, I wanted to make this clear since it appears some people may be basing their choice for a name for this Black Unicorn faction on the incorrect assumption that you'll get to name units within it - which is something that will not happen in the near future and possibly not at all.
So with that being said, if this changes the name you prefer for this legion, please shout it out.

The Sable Dames.
Sable: The color black (Simply in reference to their nature; or an allusion to the Drow in the order. However you wish to interpret it.)
Dame: A female member of an order of knighthood.
I find it very fitting.
Tempus' orders to all combatants:
1. Be fearless. 2. Never turn away from a fight. 3. Obey the rules of war.

Well the Black Unicorn Legion in my opinion really does not strike fear as if I understand this unit to be. I really do not think reference in general to knighthood aka King Arthur either.
Drow seems to me anyway, like names with subtle yet to the point. The one of the reasons I chose Zulkirs' Angels. Zulkirs being the power in Thay in other words "gods on earth so to speak."
Angels have always been the elite servants of gods in general as referenced in the Judo/Christian belief of Archangels which were a chosen few.
Dark Damsels would also be just as disarming as damsels are usually in distress and need to be rescued according to most common literary tales.
My other two names were : Valkyre's of Venegence as mentioned by others fiece warriors in Norse legends
This one was in reference to the steeds Dark Equus as equus is Latin for horse.
Also the play Equus was sort of dark in nature.

I vote for the Zulkir's Angels.
On hearing or reading the name you will be left with no doubt who these riders serve.
Simple and to the point.
