Personally I *love* Necropolitans and have an entire kingdom of them in my homebrew setting, however, they really aren't known in Thay in 3E... so I'm going to say, seeing them here would be highly doubtful.
Note that all our playable 'monsterous' races have had lore-supported ties to Thay (goblins/gnolls/orcs population and service in thayan legions); Fire Gensai from the Salamander War; Tieflings due to the high concentration of devils/demons in Thay (compared to the rest of FR) via the College of Conjuration; Drow due to the mutually beneficial commercial alliance in slave trading between the Drow and Thay; Werecreatures, due to Thay's nature; and Vampires-and-soon-to-be-Liches due to the nation's strong history of Necromancy (Szass Tam is obvious, and don't forget that his rival Velsharoon, later canon FR-god of necromancy/undeath, was also a Red Wizard in life)...

Very well stated.
Tempus' orders to all combatants:
1. Be fearless. 2. Never turn away from a fight. 3. Obey the rules of war.
