If they were a vampire, would they be engulfed in flames walking outside?
Would these flames actually hurt them? Or is it considered divine fire?
If they wanted to become a lich, would RDD count toward caster levels?
Would they be a half-dracolich or just a half-dragon lich?
I want to know your guys views, both serious and funny. *rolls ball into their court*

I thought I had the answer to the vampire question but as I was typing it I just ended up with more questions and gave up. As far as the lich question, no RDD would never count toward caster levels, which may or may not be a problem with the mechanics depending on your perspective. Should RDD have been divided into Draconic Warrior and Draconic Caster branches? How would you give at least some love to half-dragon casters without just making them clearly better than "pure" casters, and how to add drawbacks without making them clearly inferior.

1. Yes, they would be engulfed in flames. Half-dragons they may be but add the 'curse' of their of undeath and they'd go up like a torch.
2. Doubt it's considered to be divine flame but I guess that's a way it could be explained for a half-dragon.
3. Considering most people here tend to play RDD more fighter based and with 1 bard level to qualify for RDD instead of wizard or sorcerer I'd say, no. I think they would need to have the minimum levels in their caster class of wizard, sorcerer or priest. Not to mention some of the requirements you could not achieve without those levels.
4. They would be a lich. Before they had their "true death" and came back to their phylacteries they'd keep their half-dragon body. After they come back to their phylactery they have the lich form and basically I guess we could say their wings rot off and they no longer have their dragon blood coursing through their veins.
That's my take on it anyway.

They would not have any blood coursing through anything, aren't liches literally JUST bone? At most you could RP skeletal wings to my mind.

I've always thought liches could be found in various states as their bodies decompose. Some may have fleshy parts left, others just skeletons. In game however, their 'avatars' appear to be skeleton priests with flaming heads

"Slaying a Vampire
Exposing any vampire to direct sunlight disorients it: It can take only a single move action or attack action and is destroyed utterly in the next round if it cannot escape."
It says nothing about the damage from the sun being fire damage. If that is how the server deals said damage through mechanics that is one thing, but RP wise, it would not matter if it was a half dragon or not.

It works in the same manner the sun domain works when undead are turned.. The sun keeps these creatures in check, it is simply part of a vampire's curse.. It has nothing to do with fire.. More like.. deities of light that want these things to stay the hell underground and.. solar rays, yeah..
