On this server, you can tell much about players and/or their characters by what they name their horses. Yes, I know; horses don't come with big, shiny name tags, so mousing over a horse is still OOC until IC circumstances declare otherwise. But still, the things that some people name their horses is good for a moment of amusement. Some of the ones that spring to mind:
A Horse With No Name (Petra Galambos' horse. I may or may not have served as Ranger's muse for that one....)
Camel (Hadir Yadda Yadda Yadda's horse, and by Sage's admission, the "WORST CAMEL EVER". :D )
Black Rose Immortal (Korina Ververfeckindragonynametrix's former black unicorn, because, like me, Three's too cool to keep the same name after a trusty steed gets killed off)
Tempus' Pride (the horse belonging to one of those three Tempurans who really, really like Tempus and want everyone to know it. I figured that Tempus would save his pride for the warriors riding those horses, but whatever. :P )
There are plenty more that I can't remember right this minute, so job my memory, will you? What other horses with interesting names (or, at least, names more interesting than "Joe Schmoe's War Horse") have you seen hanging around the hitching posts?

Yet another of Saibaxtor's horses, props to Mirella Locke's Darthiir, which is the proper Drow word for horse, even though I think it's a Black Unicorn... (apologies if Darthiir belongs to some other fellow drow-lover, or to Mirella if that's not her Black Unicorn's name).

You people and your fluency in the Drow tongue, I swear. Stop before you translate
The Art of War into that language like the Trekkies did with Klingon, will you? ;)
(I remember coming across one of Delapenn's character's horses which, true to Delapenn's typical form, had been named Glue. So not all horse names are winners, I guess. Delapenn still doesn't believe in visiting forums, does he? Great! Because do I have some stories about
that guy.... :P )
And didn't I see someone with a horse named
Thunderhorse parked outside Waukeen's temple once? Props to whichever fellow Dethklok fan did that. :D

Hm, either you or the Chosen of Ellistrae website is wrong. Their translator says horse is zaphodiop. Darthiiri-Caluss is the drow term for elf-eater, because an elf merc killed the horse before that.

Yes. Darthiiri itself is surface elf. While we are at it ibilith means excrement and is used to refer to everyone who is not a drow.
Tempus' orders to all combatants:
1. Be fearless. 2. Never turn away from a fight. 3. Obey the rules of war.

Sila's horse is "Spot"...
Not because she named it that but because it came with the name :P

Oh that's right! I was the one who named my horse Zaphodiop when I had my poor late male drow sorcerer-priest of Ghaunadour (ala Jubilex), but you still named yours in Drow as well, which was my point... *whistles innocently*

Think you need to get your perceptions recalibrated. :P
Let me guess: Tempus' Pride was
your horse, wasn't it? :P :P :P
