There is already an exploit, a pelvis appearance, that allows male characters to wander around naked and interact with NPCs like normal.

There is also a vagina option as well in game.

These "exploits" and "options" would be local to that player only, right? If so, it doesn't matter. You can make your PC look like Barney the dinosaur for all I care if it's local-only.

What i worry about isn't these pieces themselves but rather what they will lead to... I don't want this place turning into Sinfar and am greatly worried that this is just a first step down that very dangerous road.

IMO it's been pretty close to R-rated for a while anyway... drugs, slavery, sex with prostitutes, cursing (which one of my chars did. A lot), Wids, etc.

I'm for this addition myself, as variety's a good thing and I like to think that a few nakie bits aren't going to turn this playerbase into a gaggle of nitwits cackling like Beavis and Butt-head. If any of us were like that, they'd already be over at Sinfar and Kinky Kingdom with the rest of the hormone-poisoned perverts. (Carcass just doesn't know that these servers exist yet, that's all. :P )

I only have one objection to the pack, however: That penis is way too big for girly-men like Marister and Djed to have knocking against their kneecaps. Trim it down a few inches and we'll talk. :P

If I understand the hak it will have all body models regardless totally nude as opposed to the loin cloths and band-aids that show now when clothing is removed. To get the styles show you have to pay.

Okay, rather than individually address a bunch of questions already brought up in this topic, I'm just going to hit them all at once with a bunch of pictures. This elucidating exhibition is brought to you by Corella d'Margo (or whatever her real name is), demonstrating her latest clever disguise: A live nude art model, taking a stroll around the Temple of Sharess. I'm sure she'll fit right in. Take it away, Corella!

First, she doffs all clothing and armor to appear in her "Bioware undies" (the default nude appearance).

If only we could color the Bioware undies too; Corella just looks so naked without her Leiran russet color!

Now let's see if the Sharessans notice.

They noticed, all right, and not exactly in the most tolerant manner! One would expect Sharessans to be more appreciative towards skyclad visitors, but such welcome was not to be. Perhaps Corella can yet make amends.

It would seem that the Bioware undies do not register as clothing in the minds of the populace. So Corella? Try ditching the undergarments and don something more vivid...like, say, a tailor-made clothing outfit consisting of a chain with a nipple clamp on either end. And nothing else. There's a good lass.

Well, it's nice that the carpet matches the drapes, but...why does her pelvis look like a fleshy sack stuffed with cottage cheese? (Don't blame me; it's the only "nude pelvis" clothing option that the tailor models have at present.)

That's better. It's amazing how much social grace you can summon up simply by clamping a nipple chain on.

There you have it, people. Even if certain clothing options look nude, they're still considered clothing by the game's scripting. It's not like the NWN engine can tell the difference between panties and pubes by visual alone, after all.

(Now go get dressed, Corella. Leirans don't like to strut about naked, you know. Perhaps you should have at least worn the mask.)
