I caught the bad news while I was at work today. To say that it's sad that we're losing all of our original Star Trek cast would be an understatement. I'm sure as hell not looking forward to losing the Shat. :(

If we remember you for nothing else, Mr. Nimoy, may we all remember you for this. :)

Leonard Nimoy and his character Spock was what attracted me to Star Trek. I sort of identified with him. He was also a good actor before and after and was not as pompous about his role as Shatner.

He was also a talented writer and poet.
