I've got the exact same issue, and I have had it for a good long while (since I lost PDM status). I didn't complain about it, but since we're on the topic, I'll point out that this is not something isolated to DR.

Sooo...can somebody do some research then and find out what causes that for MyBB forums? I am not a forum guru so without a little help this won't get fixed.

Not a forum guru myself either, but obviously some people have at some point given themselves avatars. Would be helpful if someone remembered how they did it(upload, link to hosted image).

I had the option when I created my forum account. It is an external link.

I changed the "Can Upload Avatars?" setting for the Registered group to Yes. I try to stay away from messing with group settings as much as I can though. But I guess try again, but if it still doesn't work....I can only assume that KTA or some auto-update made a forum change of which I'm not aware.
