I had the assumption that game-speed and the pc are put on a par by computer calculation, but want to check with you.
What are your practical experiences with lag - are there consequences in a fight or escape ?
When runnung through the city my pc' s movements show lag often.
( Does it improve with a better computer ? One should think so, or is it part of the server ?)
She has a problem escaping or defeating fast enemies in particular. Is that solely because of their inherent threat or might there be additional speed problems ?
Examples :
one day she killed an ork in the distance with one thrown axe, then encountered a mephit , ran at once and barely made it across the city border heavily injured.
She had never been able to defeat a mephit and had been killed by them more than once.
(Well, a slave - catcher attacked her during one of those fights and was promptly killed by the silly mephit. Train them as body-guards ?)
Globs of slime are defeated in rare cases, but usually kill her because the headway gained by running gets lost, as the door-function is too slow and she gets cornered.
(Maybe I'll try other weapons - bash them and fire-flask them! Scrambled eggs, anyone ? )
