My character Sudoc, a level 2 Gnome Rogue (GNOME, NOT HIN, GET IT RIGHT) has twice now encountered a lycanthrope in the north east Bez sewers, both being a wererat breed. These encounters were practically in the very next room upon entering. Nothing she had could hurt the damn thing. Not her magical mace, and even her alchemist fire barely slowed it down.
Is there any place in Bez where silver weaponry is sold, or items specifically for combating them? Would make for a nasty surprise for other new players to head down and find a monster they seemingly can not injure.

A +1 enchantment will solve this problem, there are several stores in and around Bezantur that sell those weapons.

Thanks, couldn't find any silver, so I thought I was screwed.

Wererats will not spawn unless the average party level of the entering PC's party is level 3 or greater. This leads me to ask: Were you partied up with at least one other PC of level 4 or higher at the time? Because if you were the DC of the encounters in that area were then based on the average level of the party you were in when entering the area. This is just another reason, besides RP reasons, why PCs should not party up unless they are truly (adventuring) together.
If this wasn't the case, the only other alternative I can think of would be that a level 3+ person had entered that area of the sewers before you and your PC got stuck with those spawns.

That might have been me with Jamie. Shes commonly down in the sewers and crypts hunting anyone there... Oops?
