Quick question, and one of those nasty little topics one hates to bring up, kind of like crazy Uncle Herbert who the family denies is related.

Ability scores and skill points.

Do the staff take in consideration ability scores when looking at a char? For example, the power fighter with 8 intelligence and charisma?

I like to to think they do, but if they day comes i do focus on a new char sometimes thats good to know.

And skill point padding, are you expected to use them up every level?

So far as I know Thay has no explicit or implicitly stated rules about ability scores or skill point useage.

Nor have I ever known a DM to intervene on any characters build in the time I've been here.

As far as ability points go, the player themselves should really be taking those into account far more than anyone else! :P
