Wild Shape needs some Loving.

Okay, so as far as I know based on researching on NWN Wiki, searching these forums, and in-game usage: Wild Shape does not apply any enhancement bonus to the Druid in any animal or elemental form. Sure, as a Fire Elemental you get some fire damage, but that's it. You'd need to carry potions of Magic Weapon or have a pet arcane caster to keep you buffed...

Familiars and Animal Companions get an enhancement bonus, why can't a Druid in animal or elemental form?

Two ideas:
1) Have the Druid's Wild Shape enhancement correspond to their Animal Companion or have their own table that each animal/elemental form uses.

2) Allow the Druid's Greater/Magic Fang to apply to the Druid also, but only while they are using Wild Shape.

Thoughts?

The rules do not mention anything like it. Have a look. I see no need to change it.

Not sure on the enhancements but it would be nice if some sort of tool would be able to give you more wildhspape or shifter options? It could make for more roleplay, maybe more everyday animals like a dog or raven or perhaps some more elemental options like a slamander or other elemental beings.

Yes! I can see the sense in that. It would indeed be nice to have a wider range of creatures to change into.

Additional forms would be nice and I see your argument against the enhancement for animal/elemental forms based on the rules. Though what of the refreshing temporary hp that occurs during Wild Shape? There are already modifications in place, like the Bard's usage of rapiers despite lack of proficiency and the aforementioned. Wild Shape should be more than just an RP tool. Its existence is for the Druid to be able to join combat, but because there's no way to bypass DR without a Magic Weapon buff, even Ghostly Visage will prevent a Druid from much more than just being an extra target.

This is something that could be done and tested in any module by someone with scripting knowledge or the willingness to learn it. Once all the hard work is done, I should be able to integrate it in the Thay module. So I'm game to work out design details with someone and do the integration to the Thay module, but with the current schedule and updates already planned for the module, I do not have time (at the moment anyway) to script and test this.

So who wants to implement, script, and debug it in their own test module?

Ok, I will look into it. But I can't promise anything.
