Like it says on the tin, is there any way to change a player-character's Description (or biography, or "bio") after character creation? Tristella needs to have her description updated, and Averlee never really had much of a description at all. :-/

DMs may be able to try using their Writing Quill on a PC to change descriptions too (using #W#Whatever I want the new description to be here), but that method is cumbersome because they need to re-type the entire text of the description. Plus - and I'm not 100% sure it works.

Regardless, for the obvious reason of 'I don't want more work' ;) , I do not encourage people to contact me with requests to change their PC's description unless they deem it almost a necessity.

Ok, we will do it like this: if you really NEED to have your description altered PM me the correct and exact new description and we can make a appointment where I will try the way Thayan described - though this will be an experiment since we can't be sure it will survive a server reset.

I played on a server called Arelith before this. Thay had somehow found a way to make players fully able to add and remove their descriptions with commands.

-description [The first]
-description add [Second and add as many as you want].

If you wanted to clean your description, you just wrote:
-description [A single tap on SPACEBAR] and you're done!

Worth investigating? Though I'm fairly sure Mith won't share his secrets :P

This is not much of a secret anymore and could be done pretty easily. However, part of the reason this hasn't been done yet is because I'm not sure it's a good idea to give players the ability to change their description at will. If I could be convinced otherwise though, this could be setup with tomorrow's reboot. ;)
