I've not seen any advertising of the server for quite a while. Is there something behind it? Maybe we should do what EK did with his/her server? :P

Ugh - EK. *shudders* Part of the reason I don't post more than I do is I don't want to be classified anywhere near as annoying/pushy as him. I realize negative publicity is still publicity, but I don't agree with it.

Anywhooo though...there's no particular reason behind any type of decrease in advertising. When we went live I did a mini-blitz of advertising (Vault announcement, NWN Connection scheduled game, and the Guilds & Registry forum). I've asked no one to do any type of advertising for the server as I feel that should be a decision on your part if you like it enough to tell others about it. But with that being said, if you would like to post (good or bad) about the PW for others outside the Thay community to see, there is a link in the Guilds & Registry forum that I've been using and posting in about once every two weeks that you might want to consider using: http://nwn.bioware.com/forums/viewtopic....m=44&sp=15

Thanks Force for posting in it just recently. :)

Other than that, if you really like the server and would like to help us out with bringing more people too it, please let any NWN buddies know about it. Or post here if you have any other ideas for increasing our exposure to the rest of the NWN community.

I agree about the horrors of EKing the Guilds & Registry forum.

Letting everyone know what's happening every couple of weeks is a good approach. Other than that, how about trying to announce "major events" ahead of time? By no means am I suggesting that we announce everything three days in advance, but I believe that announced events do tend to bring in curious people. They'd also likely help bring our already existing players online at those times.
