How so? You still have all the healing/recovery/raise spells on your fingertips!

Only Ilmater really has the healing domain, apart from some racial deities.
Of course, this has led to some people believing Ilmater is simply a healing deity, while he does actually embody a whole other set of principles as well, beside healing (such as martyrdom, and living with pain, though those are much less popular than his status as a healing deity, to most PC adventurers, at least). But yeah, offer to heal people for coin, don't do it for free, that would be stupid. As long as you use the money earned towards a purpose your deity finds important (which you will, being a Cleric) its not something they would look down upon. - Edin

Aye, i do have healing spells, but i don't think i get any of the good spells until later levels (If at all)
My character is a member of her temple and does jobs for them. I have made decent coin and nice XP.
Also if you have a quest where you need to search for something and its in an area you may feel it is too dangerous, get a few people to go along. I have and not only have I retrieved what I needed and got gold, but had somE major rp fun. :)

If you do travel with others, I'd suggest making sure the person who is best with merchants (i.e., has the highest appraise or other good deal providers) is the one who sells the goods, if you are in need of coin. It's amazing what a difference it can make.
Also, for those with high appraise, since you sell goods for more gold, all that hard work can end up with you deserving a cut of the profits (if your PC is minded that way) while your pals still get more than they would have. It's win-win. |
