Silvanus Summons

Yes, Ellie was TN but I think all neutral alignments summon the same. It has nothing to do with the lawful or chaotic nature.. just the good/evil swing of things.

So Ellies' summons then were limited to one form for each and the same one?

She had a 50/50 chance each time of summoning either good or evil, 2 choices each rank.

Correct.
Evil and Good each have a set of summons they get from their faction item. These summons change and increase in power as your PC grows in levels/power. A neutral PC has a 50/50 chance each time they use their faction item of getting either good or evil summons appropriate to their power level.

All right thank-you. Its just explaining a dretch for a druid :P As I said no biggie though if there was another evil summon simular in power to a dretch makes more rp sense.

I understand scripting and mechanics and time involved determines such things. :D

It used to be a hellhound, which is at least a dog.

Though I wonder if a hellhound is for higher ranking. Yeah a dog makes more sense.

Hellhound was the equivalent of blink dog for evil, so clergy initiate.

Trying to think of a good evil summon for a druid is fairly difficult because most vermin and animals are neutral, as are elementals and so you wouldn't normally expect good/evil anything. Personally if this was changed to elementals for neutral priests I think that'd be pretty good. Elemental dieties could have set elementals while others randomise. Or just give elementals (random) as the cloak spawn for dieties of natural and elemental leanings. Then if you wanted to commit the time to diversifying this more, shadows could do to thief related dieties, skeletons or other undead etc. Just some thoughts if the Temple cloak spawns ever come up for redesign.
