I'm so sad because I can't attend :(
Damn time-zones. Why do they exist?

Well, I hate to do this on the eve of a big holiday in the US and without days of notice, but I didn’t realize that this upcoming Thursday when we normally have the events for this campaign was Thanksgiving until it was too late last week. However, there is one Deserved Damnation event that needs to occur before the Thanksgiving holiday this Thursday (before the one-month in-game ‘exile’ of the Red Wizards from Bezantur is up). I understand that the short notice may be difficult to fit into schedules, and I do apologize for that. But I plan to hold this next event at 7:00 PM CST on Tuesday, November 20. It will go no more than two hours so people in the Expendables campaign can still make that at 9:00 PM CST.

This event on Tuesday at 7:00 PM will focus heavily on the Flaming Brazier. If you have PCs that are a member of that temple and wish to defend it, please try to make the event if possible. If you can’t make it, that’s fine though. There will be something for those members not in the temple at the time of the event to do in the aftermath of what happens...

At this point, I also wish to explain a bit about some of the changes that will be occurring in Thay.

We have entered a phase in which certain things *are* going to be lost or taken away (the temples of Umberlee and Loviatar being some good examples) that may affect your PCs - especially if they are members of one of the factions. In some cases, it may be appropriate to have your PCs ‘go down with their ship’, remaining true to their faction/beliefs and being sacrificed in the process. For others though, especially if you have only one PC you are primarily playing, it may be appropriate to have them survive and continue the struggle in other ways.

Again - no matter what happens, within months we all start over and things that are taken away now during the Deserved Damnation campaign will be back and available in the rebooted Thay PW setting. So for now, I request everyone just roll with the punches and truly act out your character - and please remember that what happens now is really only temporary until the setting reboot. PCs dying for what they believe in make a great story. If you have multiple PCs involved in the ‘Damned’ campaign, I’d really recommend you give it a shot and not worry about what you might be losing, but rather enjoy your playing time here and joining us all in making a fun and exciting world-ending story. ;)

I should be able to make it though maybe a few minutes late. I will have Azura on. Should she stay in Thass or go to Bezantur?

I'll 'maybe' be able to attend. But it's a big maybe.

I only have one PC!

As long as nothing comes up last minute, the much-beloved Aze will be available.
