PCs in the level 9-15 range wake to find the following message mysterious sitting at the top of their pack.
The time for repayment of the debt you owe has come. Even if you have forgotten the slavers and the brushes with death that have so far eluded you, the Vengeful have not. To begin balancing the scales, you are to make your way to the Gold Dragon Inn in Amruthar within the next several days. There you will find others called to similar purpose and further instruction will be given.
If the knowledge of beginning to balance the scales, along with ridding the world of a terrible evil does not appeal to you, then perhaps the promise of a 10,000 talon reward to each individual who survives will motivate you - along with our continued protection against your enemies.
A strange sigil that seems to writhe and swim before your eyes is at the bottom of the letter. After gazing on it, you feel a strong compulsion to follow the instructions laid out in the letter.
This is the first campaign event for Deserved Damnation. It will be held Thursday, October 4 beginning at 7:00 PM CST and is open to PCs from level 9-15.

How long do you anticipate the event to last? I might be able to come with Azura but maybe not right at the start.

To any/all PCs interested in attending a council of the zulkirs, you have a Red Wizard Apprentice approach you and sullenly gives you the following information.
You have been summoned by [insert the name of the zulkir whose entourage you would like to have a PC join*] to present yourself at a rare semi-public council of the zulkirs to be held in the Redhall of Eltabbar. Your expertise in certain areas may be called upon if the opportunity presents itself, so be prepared to speak should you be called upon.
I trust you will not ignore the summons of the zulkir, and the great honor bestowed upon you by being personally requested by him/her.
I really hope we can get a number of PCs involved in this very rare opportunity. All 8 zulkirs, along with many tharchions and their retainers (you!) will be gathered to officially seat the new zulkir of Transmutation. If you’ve ever wanted to parley with a zulkir, this will be your chance!
*For those of you who have no preference of joining a specific zulkir's entourage, consider your PC summoned by 'the new zulkir of Transmutation'.
The event will be held on October 11 starting at 7:00 PM CST and should run for about 2-3 hours. Hope to see you there!
