Maurice just reclaimed his house.
Strangely, it was the exact reverse of what I read would happen. The merchant who didn't spawn for me to fire was still there and even his inventory was intact.
The door leading upstairs, however, now reads as 33 DC, 20 HP, and 12 Def. I don't know if I should post the settings I had it at, but I spent a good portion of the crash cash to make it practically invulnerable to everything but the simple Knock spell.
(I remember reading once that home door locks were modified to make it a percentile roll dependent on the strength of the lock. Every time I had it tested by the lowest level mage capable of casting that spell, it opened 100% of the time.)
Um, could a DM just set the door at what I wrote down while I was working on it? I don't think it hit the triple digit-K, but it was pretty high in the dbl digit-K if I remember the cost correctly.
