Great! Send it to [email protected] when you're done.
And believe it or not, this is actually on my internal design priority list. However, it is second from the bottom of a rather lengthy list. So in others words, it's not much of a priority -
Quote:/snip from large list above
......
-Complete planar areas and portals to them
-Setup Griffon Legion Enclave in Pyarados *if* griffons are ever fixed to providing jumping/flying animation
-Change so PCs that know SIMTools Goblin, Orc, or Gnoll languages can talk to those NPCs for quests, special info, etc, etc (PRR Conversation)
-Go through and replace all occurrences of JumpToObject/Location with ForceJump
So since I'm posting here anyway, I'll reiterate my stance that I don't typically don't post on topics like this or encourage public discussion 'panels' of suggestions/changes to the PW. Partly because I've seen many 'suggestion' posts turn into a 'this is stupid and it sucks' type of thread, which should instead come in PMs to me or Sundraoi. But mainly because, while it's easy to post something like "Oh yeah, that needs to be done because the way it is now isn't good enough", ultimately someone has to do the work. 95% of the time any wonderful community idea falls to me or someone else on the staff to implement. And with a hundred other priorities that were in place before someone's grand idea came along, it often doesn't happen in the timeline that the committee wants and people get upset.
So in the end, I'd encourage any/everyone with good ideas to improve Thay to learn the NWN toolset, do the work on your own, discuss your idea here with others if that's your cup of tea, check in with me on your progress, and set it all up to make implementing the idea in the PW as easy as possible. Otherwise, just know that your public suggestion is noted and only the gods know when/if it will be implemented.
