Don't forget that taunt also messes with spellcaster's ability to cast spells.

Good point. It's a 30% chance of spell failure, but on the flip side I'd expect most spellcasters to have a lot of skill points in Concentration.

Additionally, taunting leave you open to getting sneak attacked. In my experience it works best when used in a party when the person taunting is not the main tank.
