Well shit, howdy!
I'm Grae, and you have Spoon to thank for dragging me kicking and screaming to this little party. Of course, anything still around after this long in NWN1 has to be doing something right...
Let's see, some history then? Bring a helmet.
First played NWN the day it launched, and ran some guilds on World of Caenyr PW, before becoming lead quest DM for a couple years. Of course, running groups as a player while DMing is a conflict of interest that few can tread with proper care, and the admins there were no exception. I left before it went Full Jerry Springer, tired of Fantasy RP on the whole. So, I went to the much more sane and stable world of..
EVE Online! Where RPers hate each other's mothers, and desperately try to destroy the other RPer organisations and their will to play through any means possible. Lovely! And yet this environment was strangely nurturing to me, especially after a few years. EVE is a place where having a solid reputation is worth more than anything else, and when you're unstained and dependable, and everyone else is dirtier than a london chimney, things work out. I ran the RPer channels, refereed the epic drama feuds, and eventually did some writing/GM/lore work for the devs. Theeeen I uncovered Bad dev/player cheating and blew the whistle, leading to an avalanche of bad press and the rep that game has today. No one likes that. The game's RP community went from thousands in '04-'05 to double-digits by this summer, so I called it quits after 12 years.
But now, after several months clean, I've got that urge to RP...the scabs are itching...but there's nothing good around now. Still no new world-creation engines since BioWare gave it a try so long ago. So, I find myself loading up..Neverwinter Nights!?!?
Yeah. Ok. Let's do this.

Yeah. Ok. Let's do this.
It's only water. It's only fire. It's only love.
It's only slaughter. We're only liars. It's only blood.
