Fighting through frost giants, air elementals and various mephits they found the last crystal they sought. They returned to Mistress Jorino and apprentice Kaylan.
As they were discussing a further meeting apprentice Kaylan was whisked away to the trials. Who knows if she will succeed and become an Omnipotence in her own right, time will tell. Mistress Jorino paid the group and sent them on their way, instructing them that she will call upon them one more time for a special reward for the aid they have given them over the past few weeks.
1366 DR Hammer 28 - Daeron Beron Undon gathered a group of adventurers in the Black Unicorn tavern to find his son, Alvin, who went missing a few days ago in Laeril's Arms. Gaining information from a woman at Laeril's, they took a wagon to their next lead, Bezantur, where they were ambushed on the road and taken to a location underground and imprisoned. The group was able to escape, fighting their way through cultists of a secret religious and criminal organization known as the She-Spider Cult, loyalists of the combined worship of Shar and Lolth that intended to sell those captured as slaves. Those imprisoned, including their target Alvin, were released and safely brought back to civilization, while one captured Drow escaped on his own. The cult was brought down, but who knows if that was their main force or operation... Those that helped the Daeron reunite with his son were: Apprentice Thrune, Burmice val'Lazrien, Imrae Illarran, Kai Kimura, Molvar Senroth, Mynh'rae, Raven, Sorsha Olreda, and Vanessa Atwater.

Deedra, the Iron Throne recruiter, traveled with the wagons (half the trip with Oghma's, the other with Lolth's). The hired group helped fend off the attacks of the usual bandits and orcs, as well as some bugbears driven to attack the caravan by Zhents. They also ran into some undead, duergar undead and some recently raised as undead from the Moszabbar tombs. Additionally, some minotaurs attacked, with two larger ones having wounds and evidence (a withered mind flayer tentacle) that they were under the control of the alhoon Alkazarka. The group also fought two powerful duergar undead, one with ancient armor. A mind flayer, going by Xyl, saw the group and indicated it was tracking the activities of the ancient alhoon Alkazarka for Xyl's mind flayer society, as they considered the outcast alhoon it to be an abomination. Having received a book of alternative cures for ailments and curses from the Guild of Foreign Trade, the group travelled to the Forested Valley to collect the necessary ingredients for this particular antidote. While in the forest a magical fireball was casted by one of the adventurers, burning the trees and angering the Treants and other Feyfolk before they began chasing them out of their home; luckily procuring the ingredients prior. Once returning to Nyrak a potion was brewed from all the gathered ingredients. Druula, Nyrak's wife, upon drinking the makeshift antidote, instead grew exponentially to the point where the roof of the building was almost ripped open. The group discovered a portal that led to an extra-[/b]dimensional holding pen, where it appeared Alkazarka had stored some of its undead. After the group destroyed the undead, they escaped the pen, which started to collapse. They also found evidence that it appeared Alkazarka was using enchantment magic to affect the minds of some Thayans. That group went to defend against an attack on Fraaszummdin, joined by Burmice val'Lazrien, Yvonnel Naerth, and Sycla Jadystana. It was a Narfell fortress from the time of the ancient Narfell Empire, which somehow ended up shifted into a planar dimensional pocket. A group was tasked to proceed into Dillomat's Tower, enter the Astral Plane, and then enter the fortress from there. The group battled planar creatures to reach the fortress, and dispatched constructs and undead once inside. A large book with references to possible fiendish heritage for some of Narfell's leaders was found. Finally, the group discovered one of the alhoon's phylacteries hidden away, and destroyed it. While it was mostly abandoned, locked in a room were 4 decapitated bodies: 3 tied to chairs and 1 laying on the floor dressed similarly as one of the mysterious assassins. With careful deduction it was revealed that two of these corpses tied to chairs were legion members with their cloaks removed, and the mysterious assassin was "sacrificed" to keep the organization's movements hidden. The group also encountered a creature that was left there by the assassins, a shapeshifting ooze known as a Phasm. A group headed out into the Underdark, where they met up with Saqos, who arranged transportation via ship along rivers and lakes, to an island. With a lead taking them to Buccaneer's Bay in Tortuga, the group fought through many pirates, illusionists, assassins, and even familiar faces. Upon reaching the docks the group noticed a pirate ship sailing away, as they tried to give chase by sea using the Archeron ship. Both ships began firing their mounted arbalests at one another, both vehicles taking some damage, but the pirate ship had too much of a lead as it continued to sail west towards the Pirate Isles, outmaneuvering any ships from Murbant and Thasselen that tried to intercept them.
