Sorsha's fingers leaned to light up the candle, as the area around her became filled with pleasant golden light. The lodging quarters of the temple of Sharess that she shared with her lover Molvar were now relatively quiet. Surprisingly so, lacking even the noises of impassioned lovers and the loud, demanding murmuring of cats. Or at the very least one could say that there were less of those than there usually were in the evening. A pleasant enough atmosphere to let her relax with a glass of wine and set her mind on a journey of its own.

There was a wrinkled paper with its cryptic message still lingering on a desk nearby, calling to those truly loyal to Thay to show up at True Visions, and then another one, containing a depiction of a skull with tentacles, and a menacing message: "Trust No One".

For a moment the woman's mind returned to her latest journey, to the encounter with the charming phasm that wished to visit her temple so badly, but ended up, as such things often did in life, likely being experimented on by the Zulkir and his assistants.

There was some passing sense of pity for the creature that she could understand so well in its intentions and goals, and for a couple of days after their adventure ended, Sorsha pondered if she could possibly find another ooze of such a kind somewhere else. If only for the sake of exchanging experiences, and having long conversations about the pure joy of seeking new excitements and sensations in one's lives.

But then, she figured, it had to be a task worthy of a long research, something she was not about to dedicate any of her days to, while they could be blissfully wasted on yet another bottle of Thayan red, and yet another night of pleasures instead.

On top of that, her mind was constantly returning to the impressive, mighty posture of Zulkir Thrul, offering the honor of aiding him to a mere group of adventurers and people who were certainly not among his closest circles. And then, as if in a loop, back to the tentacled skull and an old note.

"Trust no one..." she quietly read to herself.

Was the whole adventure true, and was the honor of helping the Zulkir real? Or could it simply be an odd dream crafted by the alhoon Alkazarka to throw Thay into disarray? Perhaps they all were now living in a fantasy crafted by the mind flayer and his minions?

Another sip of wine filled her body with a pleasant sensation, and she eagerly inhaled its citrucy scent.

If it was a dream, she could not say that she minded it all that much. After all, so far, it seemed to be a good one.
