Three responses to that:

One, she said: "and possibly a Drow", meaning possibly not a Drow as well.

Two, character "will be a Druid" which means must provide power to a Druid, and as she pointed out that the Drow pantheon doesn't allow for druids... [though I think as a counterpoint, Ghaunadaur is technically a member of the Drow pantheon as the "Outcast" god, much like Loki in Norse Pantheon - and SHOULD sponsor druids canonically though I'm unsure of whether this is currently enabled in Thay - as he sponsors an order of Underdark Druids though they would have no logical reason to be in Thay since they expressly focused on Nature in the Underdark (not on the surface)]

Three, and most importantly:
Moander has some pretty powerful connections to the Underdark
Currently Playing:

Galambos Thrune - Griffon Knight
Archibold Vanderdaghast - Palemaster
Anders Maerklos - Spellsword
Chessala Zolond - Yathrin d'Lolth

While I am all for character ingenuity, I find the concept of a drow druid odd. Goodly drow usually escape the underdark and drow cities to distance themselves from their kin. Evil drow usually revel in the chaos of drow cities and the tenants of Lloth. So I guess my real questions on your character concept are; why did s/he chose to leave drow society, and where or how did s/he come to discover the precepts of a nature deity?
Tempus' orders to all combatants:
1. Be fearless. 2. Never turn away from a fight. 3. Obey the rules of war.

As I said I will be doing research not only into Drow but druids as well. I will be researching the Druid classes. Also I believe I have read somewhere that there are dark druids.
Moander is sort of anti-nature focusing on the darker side of nature reveling in decay, trying to speed it up amongst other things.

I add that in mind when I assisted in the designing of Moander's temple.

I went ahead and read what you added Bishop.

Evil people do not call themselves Ebil. Nor do they have compys. You can get beat up for calling a computer that, or calling an evil person Ebil.
Phydran Doon - Red Wizard of Divination
Djed Setesh - Deathdealer and Overlord of the Dark Suns' faith
Ihsahn - Red Wizard of Evocation
Ryech Voralt - Priador Legionnare

So instead of having to many good elves wondering the server... we have to many drow... granted Suicre and I have been planning such for awhile now. It kind of distills the value by having to many wondering around. This is part of what stopped me playing a drow before.. Its an uncomfortable invasion.
Played By Me!

Renee - Red Wizard
Kaylessa (Kay) - Priestess of Sharess
Cassae - Fighter/Weaponmaster
Abigail Alill - Sorceress (RDD Serving the LoreKeeper)
Rae Voralt - Bardess (Deceased)

Ah good to know. I have heard that term before and thought it was PW specific as a place I used to play had those and a Blight goddess. So Thay's equivalent of blight would be Moander.

Drow are supposed to make people uncomfortable. As for too many Drow I only know of one active Drow (Ky'zzra (sp)) Beladra's character. Thay is an evil land so naturally it would attract all sorts of evil people.

As a side note to this thread, those of you who have sacrificed old characters to make new, do you have a set level you will bring the character to before they get the axe or does it depend on the build of the new?

I plan to use the build mod with the new Thay haks and custom content.

That sounds awesome! I have this cool idea for a good drow who's like a ranger and fights with two scimitars! I just need to come up with a name now...
