Those who want to be involved in this event are summoned to meet the Zulkir Yaphyll in the Palace of Crystals in Eltabbar tomorrow at 7:00 PM CST. As an OOC FYI, this is going to a very important event which will have repercussions that affect every single PC. If you can make it, I hope/think you won't regret it!

I don't mean to sound annoyed with this reply Animayhem, but you could try looking?

Barring some unforeseen emergency (there'd better not be one), Kalis will make the always pleasant trip to Eltabbar.
"Survival of the fittest and the winnowing of the weak are Malar's Legacy. A brutal, bloody death or kill has great meaning. The crux of life is the challenge between the hunter and the prey, the determination of who lives or dies. View every important task as a hunt. Remain ever alert and alive."
I wish my wife and I could've been there with our characters Melaa & Melanna respectively, however, we had a prior commitment on another NWN server (Layonara) that we had to be at instead. We're looking forward to see what the results of this session will have been.

I for one say that we embrace our new overlord. Just wrap our arms around him in love and- Oh, right.
If nothing else, we should cut him some slack. There's a lot of weight on his shoulders- Oh... sorry.
The reveal last night was epic. I can't recall a grander moment of that type in my (many) years of playing this game.
Now, everyone knows what needs to be done in order get ahead...

Thanks Force. And yeah...what to do, what to do? That is the question. I'm sure he'll be a gracious overlord. But then, so are the Red Wizards. ;)
And I should say that the revelation last night that Ythazz Buvaar is the leader of the mysterious allies was something six years (real-time!) in the making. While the rest of the cast has developed around him over the years that the Thay PW has been in existence and across the other campaigns I have run throughout the years, Ythazz Buvaar has always been the idea behind everyone's 'mysterious allies' since the very first day the PW was up for Beta testing. I have only ever explained who was behind it all to the very first Head DM of the PW. So while some may have guessed Ythazz had something to do with the mysterious allies (or maybe even guessed he was behind), it was not until last night that it became clear - even to the staff and DMs!
Thanks everyone who made it. I am very glad we had another awesome turnout and a good number of people where there to participate in this event six years in the making! Talk about overkill on planning, huh? :P
