Wow! Thank you everyone for the nice words, and to all who attended. I haven't gone through the log yet this morning but I think we had approximately 16 defenders of the temple! With a group that size things get a bit chaotic, but really I think it turned out well and that number just helped reinforce how chaotic and unpredictable that attack is/was intended to be. I'm very happy the event was a hit and we had such a great turnout on such short notice.

But I do also want to give a special thanks to the 'Flaming Five' (er...don't take that the wrong way!) players who did sacrifice PCs to make the climax of the event as memorable as it was: DarkRanger, Purulent Carcass, TheSupremeForce, Anya Sandragon, and ChrisGman. Most of those PCs were very long-term and high level characters that no doubt had a lot of time and energy put into them by these players to get them to where they were. My hats off to you five for being willing to part with them a little early to help tell that 'great story' I was talking about.

How's the saying go... "I'd rather burn out, than fade away"? These characters definitely did that! :D

The zulkri Yaphyll and those she has approached need help quickly to find the required materials for a powerful divination she is preparing. Check in-game or in the Chronicles of the Damned for details. Yaphyll will need Red Wizards of various schools to assist her in addition to the required items. In addition, the divination is very powerful and dangerous so any and all mercenaries or individuals simply concerned with the zulkir civil war are requested to attend and to protect the bodies of those involved as they perform the divination. Thayan Knight guardians of the wizards in question may not be enough.

The next scheduled event for the campaign will be on Thursday, November 29 at 7:00 PM CST at which time it will be determined if the power of those gathered is enough to draw back the web of deception and betrayal the Vengeful have spun...
