The last two days, at 12:54 AM Central Time on April 14, and this morning at 12:32 AM Central time on April 15, the server has locked up. But because no actually operating system error was thrown NWNX didn't recognize it was no longer responding and didn't restart the server application. So, in essence, the server essentially 'crashed' but the auto-restart for NWNX didn't realize it. The last few minutes of the server log before these server crashes are below. I'm asking our player's assistance to figure out what might be the cause.

The best I can tell is that it *appears* when a PC called Horuc started bleeding may have caused the crash on April 14, and when a PC called Krees The Mute started bleeding it may have caused the crash this morning. There were instances of other PCs starting to bleed out during both these days, so if bleeding is the cause, it is not a blanket problem with all PCs, at least.

I'm asking any player who is reading this to, when you next see these individuals, point them to this thread. In addition, DMs - it might be helpful if you could supervise a 'bleeding' occurrence with one of these PCs. Although know that, if my suspicions are correct, it could lock up the server again. For the two players that *may* be causing these crashes, I'd ask that you try removing anything that may be in your override folders and/or only login with the standard nwmain.exe client (not NWNCX, for example) - at least for testing purposes when/if you may 'get a chance' to end up bleeding again. And post what exactly you were doing once you started bleeding. Were you trying to do something to stop the bleeding process? Did you touch a key, click a button, etc? Any detail could help.

The server just crashed a moment ago and i was the only one online. No bleeding was involved i was simply walking through the temple and it went down.

That was just me resetting it again manually due to something non-related to this.

I was online when the one last night happened. I killed the Nightmare and transitioned to the south, two areas south of Umratharos. The new area loaded and I immediately tried to click the Atlas of Thay to get a location. The atlas click didn't do anything... no reading animation, etc, so clearly the server had stopped responding by then.

Hey there,

It crashed last night when I was actually doing a tailoring job at the merchants, so it couldn't have been that. The only think I have in my override folder is the Soundset.2da, which actually doesn't even work on the server for some reason and I only log in with the norm NWN.exe when I am playing on Thay.

As for the first crash, that did happen when I was bleeding and about to die in the Bezantur Crypts- Main Level, I believe. Saved my life, that's for sure. However, I didn't notice anything peculiar about that instance as well... I can test it again when I am dying, I suppose.

I was playing the PC Trag and was adventuring with Krees and Bog Glider when the crash occurred, I'll brainstorm with the two over what we were doing exactly, however I can tell you that it was one rogue filled cluster f**k. We were running around, re-hiding, sneak attacking, healing each other over and over. It may be possible that the bandaging could have been responsible throughout the tough fight, but I'll brainstorm with the two for the betterment of the RP community.

So it looks like Evevold may have caused the most recent one. The one around 9:20 CST on 4/16/15. He was bleeding out and getting back up, then right before the server crashed I noted that his health was at 0 and not going up or down. A lot of spells were being cast around and I think it was either "fireball" or "weird" that killed him before the crash occured.

Maybe. After the timestop was cast, the mod started to lag badly. Garbage had barely entered oghmas when lag dance started.

It got the assassin message something feels wrong and it just hung there.
