Well, I didn't see a Suggestion Thread so I figured I'd make one. This will give the players a place to post suggestions that they feel would benefit the server.

#1: Carrier Pigeons (Or whatever Bird you can buy whether it be a Raven, Hawk, Canary.. you get the picture). This can be used to send IC Written Documents or Letters to other players that are in other Areas. Perhaps even make a Mailbox system for Housing. The Bird can be a useable item that makes a bird appear and when clicked on can open up dialogue enabling you to open it's inventory, then it gives you a list of everyone on the server (DMs excluded ofcourse) to send the bird to. It will then in turn appear wherever they may be and allow only that person to open it's inventory to recover the message, then it can be clicked again to send the bird away.

#2: Gem Crafting, Perhaps as if you were to use a scroll. Mages can imbed a single use spell into a gem.. though the type of gem will affect the type of spell that can be placed. Such as a Diamond can be used to cast Raise Dead. Then Perhaps the gem can be inserted into the Copper, Silver, or Gold jewlery creating a rather neat 1 use a day item. At the expense of gold and XP and a successful craft armor check. Or something like that.

That's all I've thought of so far, let's hear what everyone else has to suggest!

#1: Tells already do this, if you feel like using them IC. I like the idea of being able to get a message to someone who's not online, like using a letter on their door, get a popup saying "1. slide note under door 2. exit" and it spawns inside the door the next time they enter their home or something.

#2: You can already technically do this at the forge, just maybe not on gems specifically.

1: I find that sending IC messages through tells is a bad thing, as it will get abused and keep some plots far too secret, which is no fun. But if this pidgeon would come into play, everyone should be able to open the message to spread plots/RP further amongst the players. And with communicating with people not online thrugh letters, you can allways find a spot where you agree to dumb letters to each other(Persistant storage ofcourse)

#2 there will be no crafting system. The forges is the way to go.
