Spawn duration

You are in an area, you spawn something you can not quite handle and you leave.

Overall what's the avearge time that the spawn should disappear? How far from the spawn sight do you need to be?

I'm gonna go out on a limb and tell you that exact duration between spawns isn't going to be made public knowledge, nor should it be. It's metagaming if you are sitting there with a stopwatch, waiting for your bad guy to go away. Leave, go do something else. Come back later. Later, being open to your own interpretation.

My concern is if someone follows you especially a lower level. I do not metagame nor do I stand with a stop watch waiting to return. Many lower levels have been killed or badly injured if by chance they happen to come after a higher one and no not necessarily in a "low level area". For instance traveling by road which everyone does, if a higher level left spawns and a lower follows they can get killed.

As a general rule I do not go back once done or if I go back it is to try and retrieve a lost weapon that was dropped I had waited about 15 min and was out of the area yet my spawns were there and because of that when I manged to get back both weapons were eaten by the cleanup script while the spawns were there and I barely made it back out.

Fair enough on the timing being revealed as it could be metagamed.

So the bottom line for everyone is enter everywhere at your own risk whether alone or with others.
