Help with Forging
#1
Wow, you get some gold and xp built up and you decided to go to the forge.
You make something and oops you can't use it yet.

A good way to help is to use the NWN toolset. Not only will it give you the approximate value but also the item level. A good way to decide on how to tweak what you have so when you do use the forge you feel better about it.

Doesn't the forge tell you what the new item level will be?

Lol but plenty of time to go into the toolset externally?

Yes, it will tell you what the new item level will be when it asks if you wish to continue. If people choose not to pay attention then they can just wait til they are of a level to use it... or remove the enchantment and take the hit on xp and talons and chalk it up to a lesson learned.
