I figured this would be a good place for general computer assistance.
Upgrade/Downgrade
What problems (not related to NWN install) have people experienced by either upgrading to 8.1 or rolling back to 7?
I will more than likely have a new computer which will come 8.1 which I plan to roll back to win 7.
I doubt I will jump and upgrade to 10 right away.
Thanks in advance.

Also is it true that Win 10 is really a makeover of Win 8? More like a Win 8.2?

Swap files. I have heard that this is good to do on older systems but I am wondering if worth it on newer ones.
I have been told its mainly used to help save ram and hard drive life.
Thoughts?

I tried it yesterday and couldn't get NWN to run. How did you do it Ani? I rolled back to 8.1 last night.

Well my NWN is set with win 7 and as an admin. When I got my new computer, I loaded NWN from my external drive which was already set up to run with Win7
