1. When can we expect more DM love?
2. Is milking the Beggar for easy XP legal?
3. Can I transfer a wee longsword from Vasharand to Tiz, RP-wise and not really directly?
4. When can we expect areas to be added?
5. When will the next major plot happen (namely the Times of Trouble)?

I know I'm missing something... but they'll do for now.

Unfortunately, our DM staff is small and therefore we do not have very good coverage. While having a DM on makes things more interesting and random at times, you may have to make do with entertaining yourselves most of the time. I'd encourage any long-term players to take the initiative and give out little quests, RP with newbies, etc. Use your PC XP for their rewards, and I know some of you have nice stockpiles of coin to grant.
If anyone is interested in becoming a Player DM (you login as a regular player but have certain abilities to help run RP-type events), or full DM (you can login to the PW through the DM Client), PM me.

Milking anything for XP isn't encouraged. The Beggar is intended though as a starting point for new(er) PCs to get XP and find their way around Bezantur without getting killed. Since he should provide only a limited number of quests based on notoriety, hopefully this doesn't get anyone much further than a couple of levels at the most.

You can sell the sword to a merchant which should unmark the possession flag that limits transfers between characters of one player. Then your other character can purchase it from them.

Area design is proceeding. I can't/won't give any timelines though for new stuff. As the 'professional' game designers love to say - it'll be released when it's done. (BTW - I hate it when they say that too)

It is currently the end of the 9th month of 1357 DR. The ToT doesn't start until around the 3rd month 1358, so based on how far we've gotten, it'll probably be the end of March (roughly) when we get to the start of the ToT. That doesn't mean nothing interesting won’t happen before then though...

I was out of town from early Thursday until just a little while ago. Otherwise, I'd have been online at least some.
That being said, I'm with the Thayan. We need to focus more on interacting with who is online, as opposed to all running around doing our own things. I can't speak for everyone, but personally, as a DM, I'm rarely inclined to jump in and provide "DM Love" for people who are doing little but running around killing things. When people are RPing, I'm fairly generous with RP XP, so at a minimum, there's at least that to consider.

Oh, I know all about the sell-to-merchant way to give your other chars an item from another one... I'm thinking of a more dramatic one...

Oh yeah, here's one I remembered.

6. Can we get free three levels? I believe not every char in Thay is not some lowly farmboy or some other profession in the same rank. I believe it'll give some points on char development too. Plus, as the slavers said, "It's a lively one!" and I don't believe that a level one char can be THAT lively.

Most importantly, a first level (insert class here) is hardly the equivalent of a farm boy.

The first several levels are incredibly easy to gain already. Getting to level three takes what currently? A couple of hours? (I'm being conservative with that estimate.) That doesn't even require actually killing anything.

Yes, the Force is right - I found gaining the first levels way too easy - compared with what it takes to get from 8 upwards...

As Force stated 1st level of any class is not common.. most npc commoners are considered level 0 in the PnP version of the game NwN is made from. also most commoner don't have the classes that Pcs have access to, and don't forget feats. level 0 NPC don't get Level 1 feats
